Taipei, Taiwan, and Seoul, South Korea, 7 July 2026 — Lotus Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 1795), a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Taiwan, today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Alvogen Korea has commenced distribution of Uro-Vaxom® in South Korea, as part of the commercial transition under Lotus’ previously announced agreement with OM Pharma1 to acquire the product rights in South Korea. OM Pharma is a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
As part of the commercial transition arrangements under the agreement, Alvogen Korea assumed responsibility for the distribution of Uro-Vaxom® effective 1 July 2026. The transfer of the marketing authorisation to Alvogen Korea is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Uro-Vaxom® has an established clinical profile and long-standing market presence as an oral immunoactive product for the prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections. The product is currently marketed in more than 40 countries and reached more than one million patients globally in 2025. The addition of Uro-Vaxom® adds to Lotus' specialty portfolio in urology and infectious disease prevention, further strengthening the Company's commercial presence in South Korea, one of its key Asian markets.
