Lotus Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (“Lotus” or “the Company”, Taiwan TWSE ticker: 1795) today announced that it received the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) by Enterprise Asia for commit corporate transparency to stakeholders. Lotus is the only awarded Taiwanese pharmaceutical company.
The pharmaceutical profession is often seen as obscure to most people. As a public listed company in Taiwan, transparency is Lotus’ fundamental responsibility and obligation. With support from the Board of Directors (BOD) which includes male and female multinational members, Lotus commits to company transparency to prevent and banish speculation from stakeholders (shareholders, employees, investors, customers, suppliers, and communities) toward the pharmaceutical industry and company operation by helping them better understand the aspects of the company.
Lotus’s achievements were recognized by Enterprise Asia and obtained the AREA awards for Corporate Governance category.
